Ive always left the first page of a new notebook empty. Beginning the page after.
It started of with wanting to doodle or decorate the first page, because to me, the first page is what I would see, what people would see and what would make an impression.
Up till now, out of my many many notebooks that ive left the first page empty, ive never got to do any doodling or decorating.
One because I never seem to find the mood for it, two because Im always afraid it wouldnt be good enough, that id ruin it and there goes my first impression.
So there it will forever will be; empty.

I realise there are alot of things that I do in my life in my daily routine that translate very clearly onto myself.
Afraid of first impression, afraid of mistakes, so afraid id rather not leave an impression at all.

So as I fulfill my number two on my to-do list, created with my other two companions; i will now not leave the first page empty.
Hopefully never making it a habit to do that again, or if I do consciously, to actually do what I set out to do, not forced, not obligated, only naturally. Fingers cross.

Mint Green

When asked what my facourite colour is, id say mint green.
Although easily mistaken for teal or turquoise; no, it is mint green. abit hard to describe to people when I want to untangle their confusion. a pastel green? a pale turquoise?
To me turquoise is a little bit more brighter and bluer than my favourite colour right here.
Have been loving this shade for a few years now. & I have no idea what and how this colour struck a chord with me, for all I could remember it was never that popular back then, and like i said, easily mistaken and shadowed as turquoise. Ive never stuck to any favourite colour before this besides black, but people tell me black is not a colour, but now, id think if i had to choose, id pick both.

So there! this is my favourite colour :D & I doubt i would ever change it.

I just realised how long overdued this is.
I totally forgot about how I was so gung ho into doing a review about my trip to Camerons recently. So here goes!

The journey up was alright, we took a longer but less curvy road, supposedly safer.
We went up on a Wednesday and contrary to what all the websites say about "opening daily", they didnt. The only one that was open was Big Red Strawberry Farm. Others like EQ Strawberry Farm & Kok Lim was closed. Just so you know.

The food was good but not great.

The strawberries were also a little limited to choose from. We took some time to find big red ones, but come to think about it, I think it depends on your luck. As mentioned earlier, other strawberry farms were closed so naturally everyone would have flocked to this strawberry farm instead; hence, less for us to choose from, no?

Big Red Strawberry sells 0.5kg of strawberries for RM25.

They also had lots of little cute cactus!

6 for RM10 which is a total bargain! but lets be honest, what am I going to do with a cactus.

So prior to the trip, we did some research and found a few recommended places.

Jasmine Cafe was one of them and im not saying this because of coincidence!

The whole shop seemed to have good business and mostly filled with foreigners.

We ordered their house specialities, filet mignon and something else I cant remember right now (picture below).

We also order two of their recommended strawberry shake which tasted good. Though, after a few sips we realised a strange consistency and realised it was chunks of small PLASTIC. Easily mistaken for little edible strawberry seeds/residue since it was a shake. We asked if we could have one of the drinks replaced so that we could comfirm our suspicion. The new strawberry shake did not have it so we asked for the other drink to be replaced and the owner got quite pissed off because I think he thought we were playing with him. He didnt even want to respond to us when we called for the bill and we had to call his worker. Quite silly of him and very unprofessional.

Oh and somewhere in between we asked the worker how the shake was made, and he said that it was in a frozen PLASTIC bag that they will take out of and blend it into the shake. So it was quite possible that the plastic stuck to the product.

Overall the food was good but the service wasnt pleasant.

Our 3 days stay also had complimentary 2 day's breakfast which was actually really good!

Nasi Lemak, porridge, any type of egg, cereal, salad, fruits, assorted breads, western breakfast, yogurts, other beverages, roti canai.

Went to the Boh Tea Centre. Apparently this is the new modern one.

View was amazing, super nice to just have tea and relax.

A pot of tea was about RM3.50-RM5?

So while we were up, we saw another sign board to another strawberry farm. Raju Hill's strawberry farm.
The strawberries there were disappointing. Small and not red, though cheap. Workers there were friendly but maybe a little bit TOO friendly. I dont recommend this place at all to be honest.

Went to the Rose Valley because I somehow heard somewhere that I could get a bouquet roses in cameron for a super good price?! Sadly I saw no such thing. I didnt even see roses for sale except in pots not stalks.
Rose Valley was less than average, nothing special. RM4 entry fee, not sure if I would recommend people to go in. Im pretty sure you've seen the flowers inside before, so nothing very special.

Drove around and stopped by this place to pee and ended up staying for quite long because again, the view was amazing.
Photo below was right outside the toilet can.
Had some scones and cake, walked around and even saw people having their wedding photo shoot.

So on the second day, we also went to EQ's Strawberry farm which had much much more variety of strawberries to choose from and was selling at 0.5kg for RM20.
We even went back on the third day to pick more for our families. I pity the people who would come to pick strawberries the day after us because I think we swiped all the good ones! Like I said, I think you'd have to see your luck.

Our room was very very pretty!
Super big space. We bought a deal from mydeals to stay in Strawberry Park Resort and got a free upgrade.

Before going back we dropped by the older Boh Tea Plantation.
Not as posh compared to the newer one but there was this mini hike up the hill and it was actually pretty fun.
We all got sun burnt although we didnt feel it at all at the time.

Overall I would say that I enjoyed the trip lots!

I think a 3 day 2 night would suffice, and would definitely recommend people to go during the weekends.

Loads of things were closed although they claimed to be open "everyday" on their website. This would include other farms and food places. We also missed the weekend night market :(

Oh! and there is absolutely NOTHING to do at night so make sure you spend your day time wisely!

I think Cameron is a super nice mellow place to go but not somewhere I would go again in the near future.

Its the kind of place you'd go after a long period of time.

The only thing stopping me from keeping one besides my ugly handwriting is the fear of it being read by someone else, not because I will start writing cruel things about people but how raw my thoughts are, how bare and vulnerable i will be.

Professors may try to trip you up, tragedy may tempt you to lose heart, and discouragement may threaten to undo your faith from the inside out. But true Christianity believes in Christ anyway, trusts in Christ regardless, draws near to Christ relentlessly. No matter what the obstacle or opposition, true faith yet believes.

With joy unspeakable. Truth can be shared, but faith cannot. Nor can it be expressed. You have to experience Christ to appreciate Christ. You have to know Christ to embrace Christ. And you have to see Christ to enjoy him and find your satisfaction in him.

So last Christmas i opened my wrapped box to find this beauty. Honestly I was speechless because I really did not expect such a gift.
Ive heard of the Lumix GF3 before but never done any research on it.
Its a combination of a compact camera and a SLR.
The size is like a compact but the picture quality is somewhat like the SLR.

My dad secretly bought this while I was in Singapore.
According to him and my mom, he initially had in mind to get me the Canon G12, but after getting some opinions from the sales person he instantly said that this was the one. Only because it had an interchangeable lens and that I would like that.

Of course you could say that; why didnt he wait for this model or that model to come out.
Instead, I would be thankful for such an amazing, unexpected, expensive and thoughtful gift, be extremely happy and love it with all my heart. I think the products that come out of the market are endless, and maybe if my dad had done more research prior to this purchase, there was a similar camera out there that was better (or not) than this, but what is most important out of all this was the love that came with this gift. Something I didnt ask for yet he so excitedly wanted to give. & that was what I loved most about the gift. Not because it was expensive and in, but the fact that I didnt have to ask for it to receive it.
I know ive said this a thousand times, but to me, the best gifts are the ones that you dont ask for.

Of course Im not saying that this camera isnt good! Quite the contrary. It is so easy to work with, so easy to fit into my bag and takes beautiful pictures.

The funny thing, among many other weird things, was getting sun burnt in Cameron. I guess thats what you get when you climb the hills to the peak for a better view and get a more direct exposure to sun light.

I know I am one of the few who can never get sick of Cabonara, when everyone else cringes at the thought of finishing the entire plate. I think I can say Cabonara is my number one favourite.On the other hand, too much mushrooms make me queasy.
Tried meringue for the first time. Not bad but not great.

Price: Fairly reasonable for a fancy meal.

Christmas passed so quickly!
Though some might still feel the whole "12 days of Christmas thing", for me after the day itself, I sort of feel all sad that its over, but still a little thankful for another celebration: new year's eve. Best when accompanied with fun loving people to usher in a new year.

Christmas has never been a super extravagant event for me.
The main things were family dinner on the eve, church the morning itself and that was it. of course opening presents which comes before, in between or after.
Still, I love Christmas. The mood everyone gets in is just such an amazing aura to be around with. Definitely not forgetting why we celebrate Christmas in the first place of course!

This year Ive received so so many gifts that mean so so much to me.
Some the typical but sweet purchased items, some handmade with love, some totally unexpected plus surprising, some that were thoughtfully purchased because they know me too well, some that left me speechless but happy till I could die.

I am so fueled with excitement right now I could even start the semester next week and go on full steam.

Make the most of the next 4 days people!

A brief summary of my 6 day trip to Singapore.
Needless to say, just like everything else, the entire trip passed super quickly; though, it is comforting to be at home in my own room.
Took Aeroline, a bus, to Singapore. My second time travelling alone. The first when I was 17 and I had to take a plane from Penang back to Selangor on my own.
I liked that I had a variety of shows to choose from, maybe about 50?

The first thing I ate was the MOS burger. The last time I had it was exactly a year ago with Adrienna when I met up with her in Singapore, also on the 10th of December!
We remember because we took a polaroid together and I labelled it "10th December 2010".
Maybe this burger will be a yearly affair. I hope Malaysia has them soon!
This was a rice burger btw, compacted rice instead of the bun. Like a sushi burger combo.

Was walking around when we passed a shop with some very strong soothing scents.
The minute I turned and saw the products on display I knew where I was without even needing to look at the shop's signboard. LUSH.
Ive always heard of it and was so excited to know that Singapore had an outlet!
Everything was pricey but just being inside made me happy. I will be back. I promise.

Then dropped by Typo (also available in Malaysia).

3 alphabets for $10. 1 for $5.95.

So obviously I decided on getting 3 alphabets.

Wanted to get more of the decos like the ones above but my sister shot me a look and I had to rest my case. Sigh. Like I said, I will be back.

A road trip with the parents up north to Ipoh to visit a durian/rambutan orchard.
Stuffed myself with durian and stuffed mosquitoes with my blood.
Not a big fan of durian but I dont hate it. Makes me feel dehydrated though. And I like bitter durians.

Met up with Adrienna after almost a year despite being in the same uni.

The food made us giddily happy although we were painfully trying to finish the rest of the very good food by the end of it.

A little pricey, but its okay, a meet up like this calls for a celebration! :)

I was asking a few friends today what were their OCDs.
I was quite surprise of how quickly they answered. I never noticed my OCD before. Of course minor OCDS do occur like how I like to wipe away dust whenever I see it accumulating on my laptop table or if something falls, id put it back up. But no, I am talking about hardcore OCDs.

For instance, I have an irritating habit of going to the toilet, although there is no need to. Mind you, not for the mirror.
So, im wondering, what OCDs do you have?

oh and btw, today I also found out how my friend would go through all the trouble and pain to splash him/her self with water and stand infront of the fan so that he/she will fall sick and get excused from school the next day just because he/she did not finish his/her homework.

I have such a bizarre friend. hehehehehehe <3

The new Starbucks planner seems nearly impossible to get, either purchasing 15 drinks (something like that) or buying it for RM88 which is absurd.
Id have to forgo my hope of getting it this year. I admit, it is rather an expensive item for me to accumulate over the years now that I have 3 of the planners but I really really adore Starbucks's merchandise. The previous years were much easier to collect the book compared to this year's :(
Im not sure if I should consider it as a Christmas wishlist because the book to me, has some downsides.
I liked having plain pages for me to scribble and jot down notes but now its all divided with margins for each date. & it would be impossible for me to write long notes. I guess you'd have to see it to understand what I mean. I thought I would mind that it was no longer the binder style (like having punched holes) but I dont, I think i quite like that it is not. Also because it is just too dam expensive and I would feel that it would be such a waste of money for anyone to have it gifted to me.

Time to search for new planners then.

Im not sure if everyone has them, but Ifrequently have snippets of events in my life embedded in my head. It may ormay not be significant. Sometimes I remember the smallest things or occurrence thathas no particular meaning but can picture it exactly as it happened at thatvery moment. Every detail. Im not sure if this is what would be defined asphotographic memory but somewhere close to that maybe. In moving shots.

Today I remembered this particular scene. Oneof the most profound and heavy memory ive had to carry with me. I remember howitd happen, when itd happen, what was conveyed and everything else. A memory Icannot forget even if I wanted to. Sometimes I wonder how I can bear with thisburn in my head as if everything communicated at that time did not hurt me now as much as it did at that time.

In spite of this, though past events havebeen for the better, I cannot lie that it gets me every time it pops into myhead. It is hard to block words, actions, notions that seem so simple and briefbut cuts like a knife.

An outing planned wayy before finals even started.
The three of us bought a Groupon offer in August but due to the popularity of the deal, we could only get an appointment all the way in November! Crazyy.
But who wouldnt want a classic manicure & pedicure with nail art, scrub, hair wash and styling at RM36?
Headed to Bangsar Village shopping center for lunch at Ben's General Food Store (like!). My first time in the mall and I would say my first real walk around Bangsar itself. All my other visits were brief and short, that I barely spent 15 minutes in the area.
Then, to the Curve/Ikano for some shopping and desserts that Sarah decided to treat us to :D

Ive always been told by my peers who arenow close enough for them to confront me, that I have a harsh unfriendlyexterior. I cant help it. Regrettably though, this is something I am aware of.At least if I was ignorant about it, I could at least, fix it, right?

Honestly Ive always found myself with an ineptability to be spontaneous with new people or sometimes even with familiar ones.In other words, I am just socially awkward.

Its not that I am uninterested, its justthat I get lost for words. Of course things like these shouldnt be over analysedand thought about, but should just come naturally, but it has never really beenthat case for me. Ha-ha now I sound like I have a condition.

When a friend asked if I could change acharacteristic about myself, my answer was almost instantaneous: To be morespontaneous.

Ah hello holidays!

It is extremely satisfying to know that I wont have to study for another few months, and I get to do what Ive been piling up in my to-do list.

Especially loads of DIY things ive been meaning to get my hands on and whip up.

What makes me beyond excited is that Christmas is coming! The most wonderful time of the year. :)

Also, I cant wait to spend more time with him. Exams had just robbed us so much time, so now no excuses! :p

The day I finished my finals, I went over, we had Nando's takeaway in the most adorable boxes, and played some xbox. Honestly, the best day in a long time.

Somehow during exams, I had this surge of inspiration to blog, like I had so much to say.

For now, I am missing my camera and how I havent been giving it some loving.

Only about 40 days till Christmas everyone!

So, is it easy to drop a habit?
do people change, in the sense that you get to choose what you would choose to like/ not like, choose to behave, or say, choose what you'd dislike.

20 years, and I still am trying to deal with myself,
I'd have to admit, im not entirely the person i wished i would be, could be, should be.

I seem to have jump from one thing to another, for example, getting agitated with this thing and the other.
Just when I give myself a pat on the back for finally graduating from what I disliked about myself for disliking or feeling annoyed about something, another habit seems to sprout like a germ. Not that this occurs frequently of course. Goodness, no.

So question:
is it me or do people get to discard what they like/dislike in a snap. I find myself holding on to my habits for so long. Like every other thing I hold on to, the things that i absolutely love and choose not to let go. So would this be me: holding on to every single thing, good, bad. only contributing to my rather self incurred detriment?

So I finally had the guts to get my hair permed/curled last week, though my wallet is hurting a little.

The day I had it done, I knew Id already liked it.
but because my hair was naturally stick straight and too soft, I woke up to almost straight hair after the third day.
It almost looked like I had my hair in a scrunchy bun, took the elastic out, and didnt bother combing it.
Some parts were also stick straight, so i went back to the salon to have it done again, free of charge of course.
So after having stuff put into my hair twice in less than a week, I am pretty pleased with the outcome.
I still fear waking up in the morning and seeing it not curly anymore.
If it stays like this, then it was worth every penny :)

I think I am having a quater-life crisis.
obviously I am might be a little too young to have such a problem but I think too much, I worry too much, so naturally you'd have to understand why I am making sense, if you know me of course.

I never knew how much I would wonder or felt so heavily for choices, of course knowing quite well that I couldnt have done anything else differently: maybe. would I have been more sure?

Down this road Ive had so much to account for. I start to see myself as a person who never finishes what I've started. I think im beginning to see a pattern. Pathetic, really.

Read a book. The covers are usually the ones that attract me. Packaging makes a big difference no? I like plain ones, black glossy ones. Preferably not hard cover because I dont like having the gap behind the bindings, or the flimsy paper cover that wont stay in place (as a matter of fact), but that doesnt matter because i am straying away from my intended metaphor. what was it again?

Ever wonder why films fade out into black screens (really I have no idea). This is a question by the way.

To me, all I see is a clear reflection. After a movie, after (closing a) book. The face of a person who has been too indulgent into fiction. I think that is what they do, blank out so you'd catch a brief glimpse of the face behind the mask, the face that longs for something more but never had the prospect. For maybe that 40 minutes, an hour or so, felt contented seeing the happy endings of non existence, because a part of me wants to believe that at every end of a rainbow lies a pot of gold.

Im not sure why im writing this or where I am going with it now, im looking at my notes and all i wrote was, Like watching a movie & when it goes blank, all you see is yourself. Then, I had a point to prove, now im just confused.

Thats that.

I decided to jump on my archives and this was what I found.

The very same and exact thought had crossed my mind (multiple times) recently.

Sometimes I wonder who I am and who I am suppose to be. Sometimes I see or read of a character I can relate to but only to feel just as confused as soon as I close the book, my face starring back at me from the gloss of the wrapper.
Am I letting every good thing slip by ?

I just hope I do not disappoint.

One day Sarah told me about some art competition Starbucks was having.
Basically you had to purchase a grande drink and request for the white takeaway cup and doodle according to their theme-of-the-day.
So ta da! Here's what i won. Last year's Christmas edition cups and a few Starbucks vouchers :)
All they told us was that winners get a "limited edition Starbucks merchandise". Who'd thought they'd be pretty generous in their prizes.
They had a winners everyday. Of course, Sarah won too :)

I shall keep one cup for display and one for drinking :) :)

I find myself zoning out very frequently lately.
(random thought: is very frequently gramatically correct? not that i bother about how i sentence my words because that would be too unfun while blogging but i just remembered how we used to study in BM that teramat sangat was wrong. just wondering)
A little too much whilst driving.
It just feels so good to stare blankly watching things move by without focusing on anything at all. is that bad for your eyes?

Well anyway September will be a pretty hectic month.
3 mid terms and a major assignment all due in a duration of 3 weeks.
Ive never really liked September in general anyways.

I used to have this immense love for music when I was younger. Not that I don't love it anymore. Just not as much.
My music wasnt anything near cool. or any of that type (though I'm not even sure if I had a type) but what really matters was how I felt for it.

In a way I hate how people may judge me base on the these things (as any other criteria as a matter of fact)
At the same time I hate how I am one of those people who picture others base on what they like or dislike.

I am reminded of how I should see people based on their passion for things. Who they are, based on the way they feel for what they love. Not something they claim they love but only feel so because of mere peer pressure or compliance.

what is it with me driving in cars and having abrupt confrontations.

today i realise that some things are only as bad as we imagine them to be. note: some.
but who is to say that we dont paint all sorts of things in our minds.

i remember feeling like a ball of raging mess, but when it was time for me to recall it, i really couldnt remember parts of it. it wasnt like it was my nature to have a random short-term memory loss or that i easily forget things, it was just plainly that i couldnt remember it and it didnt kill me to dig out what it was so i can recall what pained me.
i would like to think of it as a reminder to let go and love the better days. why fan the flames?

on an unrelated note, i cant wait for the weekend to come. :)

Going to Sabah and coming home made me realise how much I want to go back there again.

To Mount Kinabalu, to conquer it. Now im really hoping the trip to climb Mount Kinabalu with the high school people when we graduate will actually happen!

According to veteran's stories, a 2 month training prior to climbing is needed.

All this just sounds too exciting hahahahaha.

I am also kind of obsessed with the idea of snorkeling.

Oh and I somehow feel obliged to share this good and amazing news with everyone:

A 2-hour taxi ride, in a Toyota Unser from the city to the mountain (or vice versa) costs only RM16-RM20.

I never fail to amaze people when I tell them that.

A freaking 2 hour ride okay! In which 1 and a half hour is spent oogling and admiring God's amazing hillside mountain creations.

That aside, uni starts in 4 days!

Im slightly excited (?) but i know i'll dread it later on.

I am quite glad ive managed to do the things ive set out for myself to do for the holidays, especially spring clean my room, put up new things onto my walls and all that.

Here's to making the best out of the last few days of my holidays : )

absolutely love how i dont have to touch up on any photos because (to me) the lighting is just perfect.
just a hint of gloomy. perfect for the sunset photo.

by 6.30pm the sun in Sabah disappeared, wayyy different from Semenanjung Malaysia.
It was also pretty awesome that we could see the sun and the moon at the same type at opposite ends :)

A majority of people above are people whom i have never had a chance to be in the same class with, the same course with and what not.
Everyone one of them above except me, was a part of Ausmat, a foundation program in Sunway & despite my (short) stay in Sunway, I never really got to know them when i was studying there.

I remember the first time meeting them, close to two years ago. & actually, a rather haste, last minute decision at that. I had just finished my class that day and bumped into Darren who finished his, and decided to head to dinner with his college friends out of pure spontaneity.
Not long after that, they had a road trip to PD and invited me along despite only meeting me once. & being the usual me, I bet I wasnt very socially the first time they met me either, still they warmly welcomed me.

Since then I am grateful for all the other invites to their group events. :)
If I never had that dinner with them that day, I probably wouldnt have been invited & gone on that trip and never would these successive events happen.

Thank you all for being such nice, awesome and lovely people.
I am always happy and thankful when i see an invitation event notification :)

Back from our 3 days 2 nights trip.
our first but definitely not last trip together :)
no matter where you head in life, you always end up in the comfort of the people you saw every single day in school. ♥

We spent most of our holiday in the 24 hour pool & the beach right outside our door step.
We actually went to the beach plus the pool in a total of 7-8 times.
Had a mini day trip to Malacca for some chicken rice balls and shopping for our families & pictionary was hilarious.

I charged the batteries but I guess this particular battery was always faulty.
Lucky I have a spare (which I didnt bring along obviously) but lucky Kay brought her camera :)

Dinner was at Ben & Nicks Diners (thank you Lillian for the reminder and suggestion!) with awesome service and food. & then to Taboo via my iPhone plus beer at Darren's.
Im not sure what it was, but we laughed pretty hard that night. ahahaha

Thank you lovely people who made it such a fun night.
Thank you boyfriend who chauffeured me around even in the wee hours in the morning, for offering your house for beer and games and for everything else. You really are something you know that? :) ♥

oh, and it broke my heart when i forgot to bring my polaroid camera along :(

Last Thursday was my 20th birthday
He had a paper in the afternoon, so after the exam he took me out for dinner.
He didnt have anything planned out ( pfft! :p ) so we made a random decision to go to Ampang Lookout Point. & since it wasnt planned I didnt think of bringing my camera! Needless to say, I was still a very happy camper :)
The view didnt quite meet my expectations but I was grateful for dinner :)
Then, we made another impromptu decision to watch Green Lantern. Since it was released on that day itself, seats were obviously sold out, so we opt for 3D! Also purchased tickets via my iPhone and maybank2u account. I loveeeeeee my phone. :D

With finals hurdled around my birthday, this year didnt seem like I had birthday at all but I am still very very thankful for having the people around me, to remind me that I turned 20. Especially my sister who left a Facebook comment saying: "happy birthday sis! welcome to my gen:)" ISH ISH

Also, holidays are here! One month isnt much, but ill take whatever I can get after that semester.

That aside, im really looking forward for an awesome holiday with awesome people ! :)

Studying for the last paper is always the hardest, though im pretty thankful to have this big gap in between my previous paper and my coming paper. At the rate im going, I need to all the extra time I can get.
In the early exam days I could go on for hours, but I shall not bore you with my boring explanations of how I study. Long story short, my study flame has died. A long time ago.

I cant wait to start all the things I have mentally planned out!
Come holidays, I always want to make it as productive as possible, & this holiday shall be no different.

There are many things I can only sometimes imagine only because I know, that wont be, what is in my future, and Ive come to terms with that a long time ago. All this while actually. I guess this is my way from cushioning myself when I fall in to disappointed of what I want and what I "ought" to have. Nope, I see things entirely different. Take that cup in front of you, plainly, purely, and ask for no more.

Ended my third paper on Wednesday evening. one more to go :)
I caught a fever the day before and it got worst progressively, & i had no time to spare to sleep in.
Thankfully the last few hours before the paper, I felt more positive and got through the paper with a clear, non-woozy head.
Got back and laid around the house with my mom while eating cake that Lillian got for me ♥
Headed out for dinner and then rushed home & rushed out to go to Jaya One for Rachel's open mic gig :)

Hung around a little after with the people above till it was my birthday :)
at which by that time, i was half dead and sleepy haha!

Definitely another round after my final paper. a post celebration :))

I know Ive always asked for opinions from everyone and anyone before deciding.
I find myself going the opposite ways of what people tell me to do these days.
Its not so much of trying to go my own way but rather having that feeling like a bulb just lighted.
Its like if someone agrees to what Id say it makes me feel better about my choice.
Its goes the same if they disagreed because whatever im feeling the minute they say it tells me everything, you know?
Like id know if my guts telling me that i should defend my choice.
or if they were right.

I guess thats why ive liked asking people things.
Not so much of weather they are deciding it for me cause ive already made up my mind.

Although I do know that sometimes I come off a little hasty and anxious.

Well hello everyone :)
In about a months time on this very day, i will finish my last paper.
& then off i go for a beachy holiday in Langkawi and then Sabah a week later for another beachy experience. & just maybe, if the timing is right, might just head down to Singapore alone to bunk with my sister, just for fun, after her Canada trip of course. The perks of having a sibling who stays in a hostel. I can disguise as a student myself, no one would know.

Havent realised ive been quite MIA from the laptop recently.
Having one of the last heavy-weight assignment handed up I didnt see the need to use the laptop.
Whats more Ive been extremely hooked onto my little white gadget. Totally worth my savings.

So exams are about less than a month away but contrary to that, like I said, having passed up one of the last major assignment, lifts this huge virtual weight off my shoulders.
I havent felt this, um free (?) for some time now. But I shall only let my freedom be short lived or else i shall suffer when exams are really nearing.

& really, why are all the good movies coming out all at once ?!
Speaking of movies, my sister just went to the filming site of X-men in Canada. (inserts sigh.......)

Saturday

We were all pumped for Amazing Race along with other 50 teams.
The first task was to make a cushion out of newspapers so that when they dropped the egg it wouldnt break.
our's did so we had a time penalty :(
Had to run to Elephant walk from Monash for the next clue. Okay so I didnt realise how much my stamina has dropped since high school D: no excuses of course. I was the last person running in our group :p sorry!
Then we had to run from Elephant walk to the One Academy while looking for clues.
Clues which were missing because teams infront ripped it off, so we were running around like lost chickens along with other teams.
Finally when we were fed with the clue we checked in to the first pit stop and got eliminated for being the last ten to check in :(
Disappointed our amazing race was short lived :(

Headed for some bubble tea, fried chicken and meeples instead. :)

Hello, hello

the one week easter break is nearing the end which means the nearing of finals! :|
my exams dates are quite nicely spaced out with the exception that the last day is one week away from the third paper.
I think id be too lazy to study during that one week.
and for the first time ever, my birthday is during the exam period.
Doesnt really bother me that much. At least I dont have to study during or a day before my birthday.
Im just really looking forward for a break after.

Other than that, im really quite excited about Monash's Amazing race next week.

yeah. running around from 9am-6pm sounds pretty dam fun to me :D
